Project Based Assisted Units
Project-Based Vouchers (PBVs) are a rental assistance program where the subsidy is tied to specific housing units rather than individual tenants. Eligible tenants pay a portion of their income toward rent, with the remainder covered by the voucher. PBVs promote long-term affordability for designated units, typically in collaboration with property owners, to provide stable housing for low-income households.
Belmont serves as the local administrator for the Project-Based Voucher sites listed below. Each property includes a fact sheet and an application. To apply for a Project-Based Rental Assistance apartment, complete the application and follow the instructions on the property’s fact sheet, as requirements may vary by site.
